Linguist Point was founded by Carlos & Dmeyer Cristo in 2016, both Carlos & Dmeyer are of Portuguese heritage. They are fluent in both Portuguese & Spanish, which inspired their passion for languages. Unknowingly, they started interpreting from an early age for family members, friends etc. The idea of setting up an interpreting & translating agency only came about in late 2014.
Prior to launching Linguist Point Dmeyer worked as an interpreter for multiple companies that are specialized in interpreting and translating services. These experiences are of paramount significance in creating Linguist Point which emphasizes the importance of having quality in its interpreters rather than quantity.
Carlos worked in the Property industry as a Property and Lettings Manager. Where at the forefront of his role was customer service, dealing with people from a wide range of nationalities. He prided himself on being able to interact at all levels, in Spanish and Portuguese as well as English.
Linguist Point was set up with the intent of aiding the community through communication and support classes. We started with the aim of supplying Portuguese, Spanish & French lessons and community engagement. We then expanded our services and languages because the demand for more languages increased. We have currently extended our services to keep up with the needs of the UK’s diverse society and today we cover over 300 worldwide languages.

Step one – Quotation
At Linguist Point we provide a quote on the same day that we receive the translation project, which is immediately reviewed upon receipt.
Both senior translators and the project manager will establish a plan, delivery timeline and budget that are in line with your needs/requirements after the evaluation process.
Step Two – Translation
Once you have approved the timeline and budget, you can leave the rest with our team of experts.
The translators will work meticulously in collaboration with our proofreading team to complete your project within the agreed timeline. We also provide last minute services if required.

Step three – Delivery
Our dedicated project manager will review the work several times before sending you the completed translation project on the scheduled date or before.
The project manager will later follow up to make sure you received your project and are pleased with it.
